Benjelloun endured a miserable time at Hibs last season
Striker Abdessalam Benjelloun has joined Belgian club KSV Roeselare on loan from Hibernian.
The Jupiler League's bottom club have taken the 24-year-old Moroccan international until the end of the season.
Benjelloun joined Hibs in March 2006, signing a four-and-a-half-year deal.
He spent the first half of the season on loan at Roeselare's league rivals, Charleroi, but they decided not to extend the agreement.
Charleroi are now managed by John Collins, who was in charge at Hibs when Benjelloun scored twice in the 5-1 League Cup final win over Kilmarnock in 2007.
However, Collins was not tempted to keep the Moroccan on after an injury-hit time at the club.
Benjelloun endured a miserable time at Easter Road last season, scoring just once and suffering from a series of injuries and a loss of form.
And, while at Charleroi, he appeared to burn his bridges at the Edinburgh club by publicly criticising the tactics of current manager Mixu Paatelainen.
