Jamie Pitman is in charge of Hereford United until the end of the season
Hereford United boss Jamie Pitman says that the support his team got in Saturday's 3-0 win over bottom-of-the-table rivals Stockport was superb.
On the back of a 'Kids for a Quid' promotion, the Bulls attracted 3,154 to Edgar Street - their highest home gate since August 2009.
"The support was great," Pitman told BBC Hereford and Worcester. "We could hear them. They were very vocal
"And we need every bit of support, as we are still down there."
The resurgent Bulls' fourth successive win lifted them off the bottom of the Football League.
But, although they are unbeaten in five since the turn of the year, having won their last two league games to move within a point of safety and reach the fourth round of the FA Cup, Pitman insists that they still face a massive task to stay up.

"It is going to be very difficult," he said. "We are not getting carried away.
