James spent eight years at Edgar Street in his first spell

Hereford United's on-loan defender Tony James says he has no idea if his future will be at Edgar Street, or if he will get a recall from Burton Albion.

James returned to the Bulls on loan three weeks ago, but he says without a full-time manager at the club he does not know if he will stay on.

"I have the Stockport game next and then that's it," the 34-year-old told BBC Hereford and Worcester.

"It's a difficult situation with no man in charge at the moment."

"There's no one really there to make a decision if they want me to stay or not.

"I need to speak to Burton as well. They may need me back as they have had a few injuries.

"I've really enjoyed it. It's close to home, it's perfect for me and I'm getting on really well with the lads."
