Hereford United manager Graham Turner praised loan signings Godwin Antwi and Peter Gulacsi for their performances in the 2-0 win over Leeds.
Antwi only joined the injury-hit Bulls from Liverpool on Tuesday while keeper Gulacsi saved a penalty.
Turner told BBC Hereford & Worcester: "We dragged Godwin in and the first time he met the players was at six o'clock tonight.
"The goalkeeper was exceptional, it was a tremendous save from the penalty."
Turner added: "He [Gulacsi] came and caught crosses, it was a very competent performance from an 18-year-old."
The Hungary Under-21 international joined the Bulls on loan from Liverpool until the end of the season at the start of February.

Turner said while he had picked out Antwi and Gulacsi for their performances, it was a superb team showing.
"We worked hard, we had a good shape to the team and over the last two games I think the players have been magnificent.
Febian Brandy got his second goal in two games and Turner said he hopes for more from the Manchester United loanee.
"He's been lively up front, I think he's only played two full games this season and he was always going to feel the pace, I think he will get better.
"It was a good contribution both on Saturday and tonight. We are in a real dogfight to get away from the relegation zone.
"But when you get a character performance like we showed at Cheltenham and again tonight, to come out like that was very good."
