Hereford United manager Graham Turner says his players now need to stand up and be counted.

United lost 6-1 at Bristol Rovers and Turner said they now have to prove they are good enough for League One.

"We knew it was going to be hard and this was a rude awakening," he told BBC Hereford and Worcester.

"Nobody will give us anything, and there's more than one or two players that are not performing as well as they did last season."
