Hereford United coach John Trewick says he was very encouraged by the increased gate at Edgar Street after 3,503 fans watched the 2-0 win over Chesterfield.

The Bulls are second in League Two but have not attracted large crowds, with an average of 3,148 at home games.

Trewick told BBC Hereford and Worcester: "With an extra 1,000 here today the atmosphere was much better.

"Lets hope the 3,500 come back again and we can add another 500 on to that as it would be great if we could."
