 Hooper has agreed a new contract at Southend before leaving on loan |
Hereford United have signed Southend striker Gary Hooper on a month's loan after he signed a new contract with the Roots Hall club. The 20-year-old has agreed a new 18-month deal to stay with Southend until June, 2009.
But Shrimpers boss Steve Tilson has allowed the ex-Grays forward to move to Edgar Street for the next month.
Hooper, who can also play in a wide position, has made 18 appearances for Southend this season, scoring twice.
He joined the Shrimpers in the summer of 2006 after a successful trial spell.
