Hearts have appointed former Belarus international Aleksandr Metlitski as their new sport director.
Metlitski, who featured for Dinamo Minsk and Rapid Vienna, has worked as an agent since retiring from playing.
The club say he will "lead the sports department and will be responsible for its smooth day to day running".
The 45-year-old told Hearts news: "I am sure I can support the manager Csaba Laszlo, his coaches and help move the club forwards at all levels."
"It will be a pleasure to watch the team for the first time tomorrow night against Motherwell here at Tynecastle."
Anatoly Korobochka, who briefly served as interim first-team coach at Tynecastle, left the role as Hearts sporting director in July following a three-year spell at the club.
