Korobochka performed a variety of roles in his time at Hearts
Sporting director Anatoly Korobochka has left Hearts after three years at the Tynecastle club.
The club says Korobochka will "pursue other football interests abroad".
A Hearts spokesperson said: "We'd like to thank Anatoly for his support. He has contributed to the club's progress and we wish him well for the future."
Korobochka, 54, said: "I have come to realise Hearts' supporters are the backbone of the club. I owe them a great debt of gratitude."
The former CSKA Moscow midfielder took up the role of sporting director when he arrived in Edinburgh in the summer of 2006.
However, he was made interim coach by owner Vladimir Romanov in March of the following year during a period of absence by head coach Valdas Ivanauskas, and was in charge of the team going into season 2007/08.
Assisted by Stevie Frail, by December Korobochka had struggled to lift Hearts out of the bottom half of the table and in January 2008 he returned to his role of sporting director, leaving Frail as caretaker manager.
A statement by Korobochka on the club website reads: "I would like to wish everyone all the success, particularly in Europe. It would mean a great deal to me to achieve something."
