Hearts midfielder Neil McCann has completed a move to SPL rivals Falkirk after his second two-and-a-half-year stint at Tynecastle.
Meanwhile, it has been confirmed that Senegalese defender Ibrahim Tall, 26, is also on his way out of Hearts.
McCann's second spell at Hearts has been marred by a series of injuries.
"We would like to wish both players the very best," said Hearts' director of sport, Anatoly Korobochka.
During his time in Gorgie, McCann, 33, helped Hearts win the Scottish Cup in 1998 before he transferred to Rangers.
He was also capped 26 times for Scotland.
"Neil had a tough time with injuries when he was here but remained one of the most positive ambassadors for the club," said Korobochka.
"Ibrahim also suffered a spell with injury, however, he showed his professionalism and focus on the job at Hearts."
Falkirk manager, John Hughes, believes McCann still has plenty to offer.
"He's at a good age," he told the club's website. "I think back and I went to Celtic at 31 and I felt I was hittting my prime.
"I'm delighted. He can play football in a number of positions. As soon as I spoke to him I knew he was one for me."
