Velicka scored 14 goals for Hearts this season |
Hearts forward Andrius Velicka has signed for Norwegian side Viking Stavanger on a three-and-a-half-year deal for a fee in the region of 1m. The 28-year-old, who had been on loan at Hearts from FBK Kaunas, completed his move on Tuesday.
"I like what Viking have come forward with, plus the facilities and stadium are very good," said Velicka.
"I enjoyed being at Hearts, but going to another team is now just part of a footballer's life."
The striker has been popular with Hearts fans since arriving at Tynecastle in 2006 and has scored 14 goals this season.

Viking were able to complete the deal as the Norwegian Tippeligaen season is currently in its winter break.
Following Velicka's departure, Hearts are left with three recognised forwards - Christain Nade, Calum Elliot and Ricardas Beniusis.
Hearts caretaker manager Stephen Frail said the loss of the club's top goalscorer was a blow.
"I am not going to sit and dwell on it, we need to look forward," said Frail.
"Andrius has been great for us but I believe we have a striker in Christian Nade who has shown, at times, what a good young player he can be.
"We also have one of the top young prospects in Scotland with Calum Elliot."
