Hartlepool United coach Wadsworth hails Flinders return
Flinders has made just 11 appearances for Pools this season
Hartlepool United first-team coach Mick Wadsworth has hailed the work of goalkeeper Scott Flinders in returning to fitness following an arm injury.
The 24-year-old kept a clean sheet in Saturday's 1-0 win against Colchester United - Flinders' second game back on his return to the Pools first team.
"Scott has been out for a long time and recovered well, he's worked incredibly hard," Wadsworth told BBC Tees.
"He's got an appetite for work I've rarely seen over the years."
Wadsworth added: "Working with Gary [Walsh] and young Andy Rafferty, the three of them on a daily basis work very keenly and conscientiously to become as good as they can be.
"Scott's worked really hard to get back to where he is."
Flinders has been restricted to 11 appearances for Pools this season, having played 61 games for the club since signing in June 2009 on his release by Crystal Palace.
