Hartlepool United are waiting on the fitness of striker Colin Larkin after he picked up a hamstring injury in Saturday's 2-1 defeat by Huddersfield.
Larkin, 27, was replaced by winger Leon McSweeney and Turner was pessimistic about the striker's chances of facing Southampton on Tuesday.
"He pulled his hamstring so he'll be out for a number of weeks I'm sure," he told BBC Tees.
The Irishman joined Pools following his release by Northampton in the summer.
Larkin began his career at Wolverhampton Wanderers and has also enjoyed spells at Mansfield, Chesterfield and Northampton.
