Turner is optimistic of League One survival despite the current time

Hartlepool United manager Chris Turner believes his players have shown the necessary hunger and drive to keep the club in League One this season.

Pools are just one point above the drop zone, having played more games than the sides below them, but Turner is adamant their work ethic will save them.

"We've seen a massive difference in the players," he told BBC Tees.

"When I look at them in training and I look in their eyes, I see they're working very hard."
