Hartlepool have sacked manager Danny Wilson after two-and-a-half years in charge at the club.
Wilson, 48, won promotion to League One with the club in 2007 but saw them slide into the bottom half this season.
"We would like to thank Danny for the hard work he put in during his time at Victoria Park," a club statement read.
Chris Turner has been placed in temporary charge of first-team affairs as well as carrying out his role as director of sport.
The result saw them slip down the table, where they now lie just seven points clear of the relegation zone.
