Wilson is adamant Pools' form would be better but for some casual errors
Hartlepool United manager Danny Wilson has warned his side they cannot continue to start poorly as they did in Saturday's 3-2 win at Walsall.
Pools went 2-0 down at the Banks's Stadium before fighting back and Wilson has urged his side to tighten up ahead of Tuesday's visit of Huddersfield.
"We can't be off our game and we can't carry people because we're not good enough," he told BBC Tees.
"We have to make sure all of us are 100% committed."
Pools winger Matt Robson has been on the fringes of the first team this season but came on to maximum impact on Saturday, thumping home a spectacular strike from 25 yards to equalise before James Brown headed the last-gasp winner.
And Wilson was delighted with the 23-year-old's response after stepping off the bench to play his part in the win.
"You won't see a better strike than that. Robson's kept his head down, drilled it, there was no backlift and it was a terrific strike," he said.
"It was just so easy, his direction was perfect and his accuracy was absolutely top spot.
"Matty came on and made a fantastic impact, we felt he offered a different option and he's worn their team down on the left side."
