Hartlepool United manager Danny Wilson admits he is delighted with the draw for the second round of the League Cup.

Pools will face Premier League new boys West Bromwich Albion at Victoria Park in the week beginning 25 August.

"Over the last few seasons we've had some particularly hard draws and away from home as well.

"It throws up a fantastic encounter, a brand new Premier League team who'll be looking all out to get some sort of run going," Wilson told BBC Tees.
