Grimsby have signed midfielder Andrew Wright on an initial one-month loan from Scunthorpe United.
The 25-year-old made his first appearance for the Mariners during Tuesday's 2-1 win against Wrexham in the Blue Square Bet Premier.
Wright joined Scunthorpe in January 2008 following a spell at West Virginia University in the United States.
He began his career as a trainee with Liverpool before moving to the US to study physical education.
