Midfielder Dean Sinclair has had his loan spell at Grimsby extended for another month.

Sinclair joined the Mariners from Charlton on an initial one-month loan in January and is now set to stay until 9 March.

The 24-year-old was brought to Blundell Park after Liam Trotter returned to Ipswich Town.

Town manager Mike Newell is also in talks with Doncaster Rovers and Stuart Elliot about extending his stay.
