Gretna have secured international clearance for new French signing Aurelien Collin. The 21-year-old defender is now eligible for Saturday's Scottish Premier League game away to Hearts.
Collin, previously of Sedan, Amiens and Real Mallorca, signed a two-year contract last week.
Meanwhile, Gretna have been told they must wait until January if they want to sign Vancouver Whitecaps goalkeeper Tony Caig.
Caig had hoped for an early release from his contract, which ends in September.
But Vancouver have rejected his appeal and, by the time the former Hibernian and Newcastle United goalkeeper is a free agent, the transfer window in Scotland will have closed.
