Gretna have signed French defender Aurelien Collin and say they are close to signing a striker from the Premier League in England. Collin, 21, has been on the books of Sedan, Amiens and Real Mallorca, and signs a two-year deal with the club.
Manager David Irons said: "He impressed us in training and he will be a great addition to the squad.
"There were several other clubs interested in Aurelien, so we are delighted that he has chosen Gretna."
In a statement from the club, Gretna confirmed they would sign a striker from the English top flight "within the next week", but did not identify their target.
