Gretna fans are in the dark over Rowan Alexander's future |
Gretna could decide on the future of manager Rowan Alexander next week. Alexander sat out the last two months of the season through illness, with assistant Davie Irons in charge when promotion was secured on the final day.
And a club spokesman has confirmed to BBC Sport that meetings have taken place - and more are planned - about the manager's future at the club.
They are anxious to reach a quick decision as they prepare for their debut in the Scottish Premier League.
Alexander said at the end of the season that he had been forced to stand down because of exhaustion.
However, he planned to be back in charge for the start of the season.
