Dixon has struggled to command a first-team place at Brighton

Grays Athletic have completed the signing of Brighton striker Jonny Dixon on a one-month loan deal.

The 24-year-old joined the Seagulls from Aldershot Town in January but has only featured once for the League One side this season.

Dixon previously spent three years at the Hampshire club, scoring 29 goals in 63 games.

Dixon will be available for Grays' Blue Square Premier encounter with Stevenage Borough on Thursday.

Meanwhile, striker Charlie Ide has left the club by mutual consent.

The 20-year-old made seven appearances for the Essex side since joining from Brentford during the summer.
