Grays Athletic will not be signing striker Jeff Goulding despite agreeing a contract with the forward.

The 24-year-old spent the final two months of last season on loan at the New Rec from Blue Square South outfit Fisher Athletic.

He scored two goals during his loan spell and had agreed a one-year contract at the end of the season.

But Athletic have announced they will not be going ahead with the deal which was due to be signed this Friday.
