Gillingham boss Mark Stimson warns draws not enough

Gillingham boss Mark Stimson
Stimson's side are still looking for their first away win this season

Gillingham boss Mark Stimson has warned his team they must start turning draws into wins if they are to survive in League One this season.

The Gills have drawn their last three matches and currently find themselves 19th in the table.

"If you draw every game until the end of the season that's only 18 more points and won't be good enough to keep us up," Stimson told BBC Radio Kent.

"But it's important that they haven't been beaten for a couple of games."

He added: "Now they've got to go and try and win a game and the next three games are really set up.

"All three are winnable games - Brentford away, Tranmere at home and Yeovil away."
