Tottenham Hotspur winger Andy Barcham has agreed to remain on loan at Gillingham for the rest of the season.
He has scored five goals in three months, including the winner in the FA Cup wins over Bury and Stockport.
Boss Mark Stimson told BBC Radio Kent that the loose ends will be tied up before Sunday's home game with Wycombe.
"He'll come to the game to complete the deal," said Stimson. "We're very pleased. He can be an asset to us if you give him the ball."
But young defender Leigh Mills, who has also been on loan at the club from Tottenham, is likely to return to White Hart Lane.
He has been restricted to just six league starts because of the form of Simon King and Gary Richards.
