Weston made seven appearances for Scunthorpe last season
Gillingham have signed Leeds United striker Curtis Weston on a one-month loan with a view to a permanent deal.
The 21-year-old joined Leeds last season but has failed to make a big impact at the club, starting just two games for United.
"He will show a lot of energy and add a bit of quality too," Gills manager Mark Stimson told the club's website.
"He's in for a month so we can take a look at him and he can have a look at us with a view to a permanent signing."
Weston, who can play in midfield or on the wing, began his career with Millwall.
He made history in 2004 when, aged 17, he became the youngest player to appear in an FA Cup final, when the Lions lost 3-0 to Manchester United at the Millennium stadium.
He's got a real hunger for the game and a determination

After falling out of favour at Swindon Town, he followed former manager Dennis Wise to Leeds in 2007.
But when Wise left to take on his role of director of football at Newcastle, Weston failed to win a first-team spot and was loaned out to Scunthorpe United.
"He's got a real hunger for the game and a determination and I'm really pleased to have him here," Stimson added.
