Gillingham have signed Coventry City striker Donovan Simmonds on loan until the end of the season.

The 19-year-old forward joined the Sky Blues from Charlton last summer but has yet to appear for the first team.

The youngster is unable to play in Saturday's game against Carlisle due to suspension but could make his debut in Tuesday's match at home to Luton.

Gills boss Mark Stimson is thought to have been impressed with the mobility, pace and technical skills of Simmonds.
