Gillingham manager Mark Stimson says he is planning a number of changes to his squad over the summer.
Four Gills players are already in trouble at Priestfield after making excuses and missing training, following the defeat to Crewe last week.
Stimson told BBC Radio Kent: "Three or four players are just bringing the tone down and holding the club back.
"I don't go to church, but I've started praying just to get to the summer and I'll have a massive clear-out."
Gillingham remain four points adrift in the bottom four of League One despite ending a run of four successive defeats with a 2-1 victory over Bournemouth on 22 March.
