Stimson has been Gillingham manager since November 2007 |
Manager Mark Stimson has told the Gillingham's fans to aim any abuse at him and not at chairman Paul Scally. "Don't boo him, he's put a lot of time, money and effort into the club. I'll take it on my shoulders," Stimson told BBC Radio Kent. Scally was one of the targets for supporters after the 3-0 home defeat to Crewe, which left them four points from safety in the drop zone. "It was a bad day at the office, we now must win our next game," Stimson added. Gillingham are at home to Bournemouth on Saturday.
