Gillingham midfielder Adam Miller says he plans to be less vocal in a bid to cut down on being booked.

He is one booking away from a two-match after picking up nine yellow cards so far this season and could miss vital games in the fight against relegation.

"It's something I'm going to have to address because I don't want to be suspended," he told BBC Radio Kent.

"The will to win is not going to stop, but verbally I'll have to quieten down a bit and tone myself down."

Gillingham manager Mark Stimson does not want Miller to lose his passion and desire.

The Gill boss said: "It would be nice if other players took it on board and see what he's doing and actually got one or two yellow cards for putting themselves about."

Gillingham are currently in the bottom four of League One and have just 10 games left to maintain their status in the division.
