Gateshead have signed defender Mark Robinson on a one-year deal with an option for a further year following his release by York City.
Robinson, 27, operates at left-back and has played for a string of clubs, including Hartlepool, Hereford and Stockport before moving to Torquay.
York signed him in June 2006, and he made 73 appearances for the club, despite breaking a leg in that spell.
He becomes the fourth player to arrive on Tyneside this summer.
