Gera scored 25 goals in 155 appearances for West Brom
Out-of-contract midfielder Zoltan Gera could be on his way to Fulham after rejecting a new deal with West Brom.
The 29-year-old, who joined the Baggies from Ferencvaros in July 2004, was instrumental in last season's promotion winning campaign to the Premier League.
Manager Tony Mowbray said West Brom had offered the Hungary international "the best contract the club could".
"We could do no more. Everyone at Albion appreciated his professionalism on and off the field," said Mowbray.
Gera has scored 25 times in 154 appearances for the Baggies.
He played his part in the club's Premier League return with match-winning goals at Wolves and Norwich during the Championship run-in, taking his tally for the season to 11, his most productive campaign at the Hawthorns.
"We would like to wish Zoltan all the best in his future career," added Mowbray.
"But football moves on and, just as we did last summer, we are looking forward to the challenge of finding new faces to strengthen the squad for the season ahead."
Last month, Gera's agent Sam Stapleton said the winger wanted West Brom to prove that they could stay in the top flight.
"It's not down to money at all, it's down to ambition and longevity of playing in the Premier League," Stapleton told BBC WM.
