Forest Green will leave The Lawn for a new stadium this summer |
Forest Green Rovers boss Gary Owers hopes they can win Saturday's final game at The Lawn before moving to their new stadium - whatever else happens. Rovers host play-off hopefuls Stevenage knowing not even a win may be enough to avoid relegation from the Conference.
"It's out of our hands, we accept that, but it won't be over until the final whistle blows," Owers told the Gloucester Citizen newspaper.
"We need to concentrate on Saturday and deal with the consequences afterwards."

Rovers are bottom of the Conference table, a point adrift of Scarborough and two points behind Tamworth. Nominally, the bottom two teams are due to be relegated, although a number of off-field issues may still affect the final outcome.
Altrincham are appealing against an 18-point deduction for fielding an ineligible player, while Canvey Island have hinted that they may withdraw from the division for financial reasons.
Meanwhile, Scarborough have been told they will be automatically relegated if they fail to come out of administration by the end of May.
Owers continued: "Whatever happens, it would be nice to finish with a win because there's a lot of history involved with the occasion and I'd like to see people going away smiling.
"There are obviously nerves involved, but if we turn up and show plenty of commitment, then you never know."
