Prendergast has joined to help Farsley's relegation battle |
Winger Rory Prendergast made his Farsley Celtic debut as they crashed out of the Setanta Shield with a 2-1 extra-time loss at Droylsden. The former Rochdale, Blackpool and Accrington man joined in time for the game but could not prevent them squandering a lead to exit the Shield.
The 29-year-old was released by League Two side Dale in January after making 23 appearances at Spotland.
Farsley are fourth from bottom of the table, two points adrift of safety.
