Rochdale winger Rory Prendergast has been told that he will not be offered a new contract when his deal expires on 21 January and is free to leave. Prendergast, 29, joined the club from Blackpool during the transfer window last January.
He has made 22 appearances and scored 4 goals since his move to Rochdale.
Meanwhile the club have also released Callum Warburton, Kristian Bowden and Kyle Buckley who all joined the Spotland outfit in the summer.
