Farsley Celtic have appointed caretaker boss John Deacey as their new manager on a permanent basis. The former assistant had been in charge at Throstle Nest since the departure of Lee Sinnott to Port Vale in November.
"It was a unanimous decision by the board," chairman Andy Firbank told the Yorkshire Evening Post.
Deacey had previously helped Sinnott guide the West Yorkshire club to three promotions in four seasons. They are now 20th in the Blue Square Premier.
Former Lincoln manager John Schofield and ex-Bury boss Andy Preece had also been linked with the job.
