Farsley Celtic boss Lee Sinnott has been ruled out of the running for the vacant manager's job at Port Vale. Sinnott, 42, was on a shortlist at Vale Park to replace Martin Foyle but will not be joining the League One side.
Celtic chairman Andy Firbank told the Yorkshire Evening Post: "The deadline for Port Vale to speak to Lee Sinnott expired at 1230GMT yesterday (Monday).
"We have now been informed they have withdrawn their interest in our manager and this matter is now closed."
