Manager Steven Pressley wants to remain at Falkirk next season - even if they are relegated to the First Division.
Falkirk must beat Killie on Saturday to secure their Scottish Premier League status and send the Ayrshire club down.
"There's so much at stake but that's why you're in football," Pressley told BBC Scotland. "The board have suggested that I'll be here next season.
"I've enjoyed my time here at the club and working with the players, and I would certainly consider staying on."
Falkirk were faced with the same situation on the final game of last season, when they had to beat Inverness CT to remain in the SPL.
The Bairns won that game and Pressley is keen for his current side to emulate that feat.

"The destiny of both clubs is dependant on the result this weekend; whether we're playing SPL or SFL football next season," he said.
"Falkirk, for the last couple of months, have been working hard on the SPL and SFL scenarios. That's not from a negative aspect but from a professional one they've had to do that.
"It's going to be a great occasion, nerve-wracking for supporters, players and managers.
"Its black and white. We have to go there and win the game and that's exactly what we intend to do. Sometimes these types of games can be easier playing away from home."
And Pressley believes Kilmarnock will be under intense pressure playing at Rugby Park.
"The pressure is all on the home team but we have to go about it in the right manner and put them under pressure," he said.
"The team that can handle the mental aspect of the game will go on to win it. I think that there is a lot of fear in this type of game and sometimes that can be your biggest enemy.
"If we can handle that side of it we will certainly win the game.
"We have had to deal with being at the bottom of the table for a long time but I think we have dealt with it superbly."
