Stokes picked up the prize for the second consecutive month |
Falkirk's Anthony Stokes has revealed he would be pleased to extend his stay with John Hughes' side. Stokes, on loan from Arsenal until January, was speaking after being voted the Bank of Scotland Premier League young player of the month for November.
The 18-year-old, who is top of the SPL scoring chart with 11 goals, said it was up to Arsene Wenger whether he extended his stay in Scotland.
"I would definitely be happy to stay here as I am enjoying it," he said.
The Irish teenager's month started with a hat-trick against Dunfermline - his second in two league outings.
He was also on target in the defeats to Kilmarnock and Motherwell but was sent off in the game at Fir Park.

Stokes scored in last month's CIS Insurance Cup win over Celtic, netting in extra time to force a penalty shoot-out.
His scoring exploits have alerted a number of other clubs and Celtic chief scout Ray Clarke has made his interest known.
However, Falkirk head coach John Hughes hopes extend Stokes' loan period until the end of the season.
The youngster, who said it was "brilliant" to win the award, added: "I've enjoyed every minute at Falkirk obviously apart from the red card."
"I'm doing well for myself, I'm scoring goals and what more can I ask for?
"At the moment, I don't see why I would go back to Arsenal unless Arsene Wenger says that I am in the first team or first team squad then I am better playing regularly here.
Stokes is the leading goalscorer in the Premier League |
"I'm in regular contact with Liam Brady and I think Falkirk are in talks with Arsenal about me but there is still four weeks left on my deal here so there is no rush but it would be good to get it all sorted. But it's up to Arsenal at the end of the day."
Stokes praised his Falkirk team-mates for giving him the service to score so many goals.
"I'm making a name for myself because I have been scoring goals but that's down to the whole team," he added.
"If they create five chances in a game I just have to take one or two and that's my job done."
The Irish teenager also revealed Henrik Larsson was one of his idols and that he would like to emulate the Swede by playing for Celtic at some stage in his career.
"Henrik Larsson was the biggest star when I was growing up and to an extent, one day, I would love to play for Celtic."
