Exeter City have snapped up Wales international striker Daniel Nardiello following his release by Blackpool.

The 27-year-old's contract at Bloomfield Road was not renewed at the end of last season following the Seasiders' promotion to the top flight.

During his two years at Blackpool, Nardiello only made nine appearances, partly due to injury problems.

The striker scored seven times in 18 games during loan spells at Hartlepool and Bury last term.

Nardiello, who started his career as a trainee at Manchester United and appeared in the European Champions' League for the Old Trafford club, has been capped three times for Wales.
