Golbourne tips Exeter City boss Tisdale for the top
Golbourne made one Premiership start for Reading in August 2007
Exeter City's Scott Golbourne says his boss Paul Tisdale has all the attributes to become a manager at the highest level in football.
The 21-year-old defender, who signed for City from Reading in July, said Tisdale is unlike any manager he has worked with before.
Golbourne told BBC Devon: "Paul's got some new, fresh ideas about the game - he's a pleasure to work with."
"He could manage at the top level. I've got no doubt about that."
Golbourne added: "He's still only young and he's got plenty of time on his hands in terms of management and he's hungry for success.
"He's shown that with the work he's done here."
Tisdale became the first manager in the Grecians' history to secure back-to-back promotions in May, when he led his men up to League One.
Although Golbourne's move to St James Park happened in the wake of this historic achievement, the young defender sees no reason to rule out further success.
Golbourne said: "What Paul's building here we can only improve at the minute.
"He's built a solid team and if we can sustain or do as well as we can this year and then bring in a few more personnel next year - there's no reason why we can't go and get promoted again."
