But Moxey, who is part of the England C squad to face Wales Under-23s at St James Park on Wednesday, says he wants to do it with the Grecians.

"I'd love to get my home town club into the League and hopefully go on from there," he told BBC Radio Devon.

Mackie left Exeter to join Plymouth Argyle last month and scored twice on his debut against Barnsley.
