The Pilgrims' were knocked back last week when they tabled their first bid of �80,000 for the 21-year-old forward, who has notched 14 goals this season.

Mackie is out of contract at the end of the season and Grecians director of football Steve Perryman says the latest offer has not been rejected outright.

"We're not excited about it. We haven't turned it down yet. It's on the table but that's as far as it goes," he said.
