Ebbsfleet boss Liam Daish unhappy with Oxford defeat

Highlights: Oxford United 4-2 Ebbsfleet

Ebbsfleet United manager Liam Daish insists that scoring twice at Blue Square Premier leaders Oxford United in a 4-2 defeat was no consolation.

The Fleet, who are second from bottom, beat promotion chasers Mansfield and Stevenage 2-1 in their previous two games - after 12 hours without a goal.

Daish told BBC Radio Kent: "I'm not happy. We lost 4-2 against a side that's top of the table.

"We weren't playing Manchester United or Liverpool. We should have got more."

He said: "Do the same things defensively against Stevenage in the FA Trophy on Saturday then we'll be licking our wounds."
