Eastbourne boss Garry Wilson pleased with new recruits
Eastbourne Borough manager Garry Wilson has praised the recent arrivals at the club after being faced with a growing list of injury concerns.
Finland under-19 defender Carl Jenkinson signed a three-month loan deal from Charlton Athletic on Tuesday.
His arrival followed Bournemouth duo Joe Partington and Mitchell Nelson who joined last month.
Wilson told BBC Sussex: "They're doing a fantastic job. They're all young, fit professionals and quality on the ball."
Charlton's Jenkinson made his debut in Tuesday's 0-0 Blue Square Bet Premier draw with Forest Green Rovers, and Wilson was impressed with his performance.
"We had to bring Carl on probably earlier than he wanted or we wanted," the Eastbourne boss said.
It's great experience for them - we work closely with the clubs to give reports, they think highly of these lads

"We were just wanting him to have a look at it as it was his first night with us. But he just went on there and I thought he was superb, he's fit, he's sharp, and fitted in great."
And Wilson added that he is aware that all the players have been loaned to him with a view to them returning to their parent clubs as better players.
"It's great experience for them," Wilson continued. "We work closely with the clubs to give reports - they think highly of these lads.
"They're not just here to get them out of their clubs, they're here to progress their football to better things."
