Brown is returning to Sussex after a spell at Crawley Town

Eastbourne Borough have signed Cambridge United midfielder Danny Brown on loan until 1 January.

The 28-year-old is eligible to play in Saturday's FA Cup first round tie with Barrow, after beating the registration deadline by just seven minutes.

He began his career at Leyton Orient, before moving on to Barnet, Oxford United and Crawley.

Brown made just six appearances for Cambridge United in the Blue Square Premier this season.
