Kenny watched Dunfermline struggle at Rugby Park |
Dunfermline manager Stephen Kenny may delve into the transfer market in a bid to arrest the club's worrying slump to the bottom of the Premier League. "Whether I have to look outwith the players already at the club to improve, will depend on how we go over the next few weeks," he told The Courier.
"Looking at the unit, lack of height is an issue for us. We were punished for that at three set-pieces on Saturday.
"I may well have to look at addressing that particular issue in January."
The Pars are five points adrift at the foot of the table after their 5-1 hammering at Kilmarnock on Saturday.
"We are going to have to roll up our sleeves and work hard to put this right," said Kenny.

"There are good players here and Phil McGuire is going to be back in the next few weeks which will help.
"But some of the defending against Kilmarnock wasn't good to say the least.
"But defending isn't only about the back four.
"It's about the entire team."
Kenny, who led former team Derry City to FAI Cup final glory on Sunday, is aware of Dunfermline's recent struggles to avoid the drop.
"Dunfermline have been 11th for the last three seasons, it's not just something that's happened this week or last week," he continued.
"They had been adopting a policy this season mainly of trying to keep it tight. That didn't work.
"We've put out more attacking teams recently and that hasn't paid off either.
"Clearly we've got a bit of work to do, but we will get better.
"I will have a look at things transfer wise when the window opens, but apart from that the main thing is getting players back from the treatment room.
"Along with Phil McGuire, Mark Burchill should be back in the next few weeks, which would be a massive plus for us, and Andy Tod could possibly join them as well."
