Jim Leishman said he knew Hibs would cause the Pars problems |
Dunfermline boss Jim Leishman lamented the timing of the goals his side conceded in the 4-0 defeat to Hibs. "It's when we lost the goals that caused us problems. Hibs started really well as we expected," he said.
"We knew they would come out the traps but two or three great saves by Dorus (De Vries) kept us in the game.
"We had to lift the boys at half-time. I thought we were having our best spell but we lost the second goal and after that the heads went down."
The Pars had a penalty appeal turned down in the first half when Mark Burchill tumbled following Zbigniew Malkowski's challenge.
Leishman said: "Whether it was a penalty or not I don't know. I think the TV said it wasn't."
