Mark Proctor said his players produced a superb performance |
Hibs caretaker manager Mark Proctor hailed his side's performance in the 4-0 win at East End Park. He said: "We scored four terrific goals and we could have got one or two more.
"Myself and John (Park) have been getting our hands dirty so it was good to get the result. It was a great performance."
Asked whether his long-term future was at Easter Road, Proctor said: "We are just focussing on preparing for the next match at Aberdeen next Monday."
Goalscorer Ivan Sproule, who proved a thorn in the side of Dunfermline's defence, said Hibs were determined to produce potent, attacking football for 90 minutes.
"It's pleasing to get a goal but even more pleasing to get the three points," he said after the game.
"When we do go 2-0 up have to finish teams off. We have to play like that for 90 minutes."
